The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
What a week......
I had a long conversation with Terry about us and where we are with Christ. I keep a journal for dreams, prophetic words, angel and demonic encounters. It is great to look back and see what God has been up to. There is no possible way to remember it all.
I get excited and I just can't contain it.
There are times I wonder in my flesh if it is God really speaking. I must admit it takes faith and practice to know His voice. I have been years trying to get it all figured out. But through the years there has been times I have known beyond a shadow of an doubt He was talking to me. And this week has been one of those weeks.
I get overwhelmed with it all.
He is such a BIG God. Why would He care about little ole me? Why would He take the time out of His busy schedule to talk to me? We all ask the same questions. But the thing is, He does care. He does want to talk to you. And above all, He has time for you.
The Word I received from God this week was also given to me about a year ago in a dream. I had forgotten about the dream but He hadn't. The Word from a year ago was a scripture while I was sleeping. This week it has been the same scripture over and over, everywhere I go.
Now what do I do with this scripture?
Sit on it another year?
Lord I hope not.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on the them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
Isaiah 61:1-3
