new body of believers in Portland Tn
Our first Sunday with the new work that is being done in Portland.
What do I think?
What I told Terry this afternoon is how we have come full circle.
God seems to do that....
We are back with those we were with 12-13 years ago. Though this is a new work we all know of each other. We at least don't have to get to know everyone from scratch.
We had twelve in service today. Not to bad. I believe we are all tired of church as usual. We've all heard it. Church has become an ritual for us all.
This new work for me is not about the numbers but about obtaining all God has for us. We are a hungry people. I want what God has for us to spread like wildfire to other churches. I want it to become an epidemic.
And because of that hungry we have, God is going to move.
It is not about being "a church" but about being a "body of believers" in one accord.
We want to see God move.
We want the lost to be saved.
We want the hurt to be whole.
God can and will do it all through each one of us....
How Awesome is He.
