Patrick and Andrea Cmas 1990

Teresa showed up today. Out of nowhere really. I haven't thought of Teresa in years. Teresa Carter was my twin brother Brett's first wife. They had two children together. Patrick was born July 1989 and Jordan was born June 1990.

Teresa is on a mission to found her two children. Years ago my heart ached for these two boys. I missed them horribly. But time has a way of healing the heart. You never stop missing them but life goes on.

We had these two boys in our lives until 1994 when they were adopted by a family. That has been part of the problem now. We don't have a lot of places to start looking for them. Rumors fade over the years......

Patrick is now twenty and Jordan is nineteen. They are at an age to decide if they want to see their mother and family. We don't know how much they remember of their lives with us.

Brett and Teresa loved their children. Love was never the problem.....As I look back after all these years what other choice did they have? Though they loved their boys something else always came first. Teresa has paid the ultimate price..the guilt of not having her boys.

She cried when I saw her today. She wants desperately to find them. I think she has more than paid for what happen all those years ago. She is doing all she knows to do to find them.
 
Prayer is all we have left......

Brett never got over losing his kids. It haunted him till the day he died. I am sure it haunts Teresa even today.

I just wanted to dedicate todays entry to my nephew's Patrick and Jordan.
You will forever be missed.....
