Voice of Direction
Everything begins and everything must end, there always is directions in this maze of life were in.
Just listen to our young and even to our old, we all have ideas about where we want to go.
I too had dreams when I was just a boy, I wish I'd only known my life was not a toy.
Mistakes that I've made, they started very young, the direction that I took in life was sometimes not much fun.
I had a void inside of me I had a need to fill, I found a friend soon after, whose thirst I could not fill.
The feeling that he gave me, soon no longer helped, that's when I met his brothers and my life began to melt.
Later on in life it went from bad to worse, often times I told myself I thought it was a curse.
Deep down inside my choices numbered one, no matter which direction from it you cannot run.
No matter if it's day or not night it whispers in my ear, my friends and I are waiting to help you with your fear.
I'm always on your heels and when you turn around, no matter your direction we knew you can be found.
The direction that we take in life is often our own choice, just remember any path we take could start with just a voice.

You are always remembered Brett on this day.....the day we lost you forever. But this is also the day I know you made to heaven. Though your death will forever be tragic, your death saved your soul. Till we meet again.....
